MacFarlane Pheasants, Inc has so many ideas for preparing Pheasant at home. I have selected two recipes that are both delicious and easy to prepare. In fact, they are so easy, I like to prepare them together and add a salad, for the perfect feast. I can prepare both dishes in half an hour, and each recipe takes about 15 minutes to cook. This is the perfect way to entertain. Don\u2019t spend the whole day in the kitchen, make your meal special, and have lots of time to enjoy your company!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Grilled Pheasant Kabobs<\/h2>\n

Prep Time:\u00a030 minutes<\/p>\n

Cook Time:<\/span>\u00a015 minutes<\/p>\n

Ingredients:
\n1 to 1 \u00bd pounds\u00a0pheasant breast<\/span>\u00a0strips
\n1 jar sliced jalape\u00f1o peppers, 4 ounces
\n12 slices bacon, cut into thirds
\n6 bamboo skewers, soaked in water<\/p>\n

Directions:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Cut the pheasant breast into 36 pieces and place the pieces in a mixing bowl.<\/li>\n
  2. Pour the juice from the jalape\u00f1o peppers over the pheasant and marinate it for 20 minutes.<\/li>\n
  3. Preheat your outdoor grill to medium heat, and lightly oil the grate.<\/li>\n
  4. Drain the marinade from the pheasant.<\/li>\n
  5. Place a slice of jalape\u00f1o pepper onto each piece of pheasant breast, wrap with a bacon strip, and slide onto a skewer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Place 4 to 6 rolled wraps on each skewer. Place kabobs on the grill and frequently turn for approximately 15 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and grilled. Remove the skewers from the grill and plate the pheasant.<\/p>\n

    Using an oven:
    \nTurn on the broiler; place the skewers on a baking pan. Keep the pan 6 inches away from the heat source to avoid cooking too quickly. Broil each side for 10 minutes, or until bacon is crisp, then turn them and broil for 10 additional minutes. Remove the skewers from the\u00a0oven,\u00a0<\/span>and plate and serve immediately.<\/p>\n

    BBQ Pheasant and Gouda Pizza<\/h2>\n

    1 (12-inch) pre-baked pizza crust<\/span>
    \n1 cup spicy barbecue\u00a0sauce<\/span>
    \n2 skinless, boneless\u00a0Pheasant breast halves<\/span>, cooked and cubed*
    \n1\/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    \n1 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
    \n1 cup chopped red onion
    \n2 cup shredded Smokey Gouda Cheese<\/p>\n

    Directions:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).<\/li>\n
    2. Place the pizza crust on a medium baking sheet.<\/li>\n
    3. Spread the crust with barbecue sauce.<\/li>\n
    4. Top\u00a0<\/span>the crust with pheasant, cilantro, pepperoncini peppers, onion, and cheese.<\/li>\n
    5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
